Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Peer review/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist
Appearance
The article already contains detailed sections covering the main topics of interest, as well as half a dozen references. The article was created from a redirect a month ago, but has received only little attention since then. I've nominated it here to help it grow into an even better and more complete article. -- Ritchy 23:08, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
- I read through this article, and I can see you've been adding to it, but there's a few things you can do to improve more:
- Make sure that is in encyclopedic format. Take some time and look through that.
- Make sure that someone who is not acquainted with the game can read it easily (once again, writing style).
- There is no gameplay section that explains what you actually do in the game. Consider taking some of the sections (bosses, levels), adding something more about what you do, and make one good section that explains the complete gaming experience (but not too much or else you'll have a game guide. Try to find a balance.)
- The lead paragraph is a little sloppy. It must reflect what is going to be explained in the article, as well as introduce the topic a little. Although it may seem redundant, much of the information in the infobox should appear on the lead paragraph also. Things like the genre, year, developer. Try looking at some Featured Articles like Doom or Shadow of the Colossus.
- There are really no references or citations in the article other than in the review section. I don't know if anything in the article is true, and wikipedia does not allow any original research.
- Finally, consider adding a development section. Elaborate on how it was designed and what the developers have to say. I know this game is somewhat old, but see what you can dig up.
- You may want to consider adding fair use rationales to some of the images in the article (some other FA article's images have them, although this would probably be the last thing you do if you're bored).
- Finally, check out the CVG guidelines. Good stuff there if you have other concerns.
