Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Peer review/Race Driver: Create and Race

The article needs some advice on how it could expand and be better. Andrew22k (talk) 10:32, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines is the project's reference for expanding on the article, what to do and what not to do
- A somewhat summarized version, build the article on these sections
- Lead: Expand the introduction after fleshing out the article. It should cover the major parts of the article per WP:LEAD.
- Gameplay: Describe how the game is played. Talk only about the general mechanics and in words that casual readers can understand (per the Video games article guidelines). If the game has a feature that sets it apart from other racing games (on the DS or otherwise), do write it up here. You can easily source these items from the reviews or game manuals.
- Development: Describe the process in which the game was developed. Who conceived this game, and under what circumstances did he or she thought of it? Were there any obstacles or significant events during the development?
- Reception: Look through the reviews and get a general feel of the critics' opinions. You do not need to include every little comment they made about the game. Take their major praises and criticisms of the game and expand on them. An additional small sample of minor but interesting opinions will help flesh the section further.
- Read up the policies and guidelines (Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Reliable sources) to ensure that the sources you find and use are reliable. A list (still in the works) of what could be reliable sources for video games is available at Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Sources.
- That is about it. After having fleshed out the article, most of the later work would be scrutinising the contents for any biased opinion, trivial content which could be left out without harm, adding crucial data from newly found sources, and brushing up the prose. Good luck! Jappalang (talk) 01:19, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
