The Emerging Scholars Program is a first-year honors program at The University of Texas at Austin, which offers separate calculus and chemistry courses for students who are majoring in the College of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business, or Liberal Arts. The program, which began in the fall of 1978, provides students with a challenging but friendly environment to motivate them in these subjects. A small number of students applying to the University each year are invited to join the program.
