National Highway System
[edit]According to the Federal Highway Administration maps of the National Highway System, several Virginia state secondary routes are part of the National Highway System:
- Virginia State Route 613 (Fairfax County): Principal arterial along Sleepy Hollow Road from about Kennedy Lane north to SR 7 (Leesburg Pike) at Seven Corners. Main system along Wilson Boulevard in Arlington County (not marked as SR 613, but covered in the SR 613 article; maintained by Arlington County) from Seven Corners to Arlington Ridge Road in Rosslyn.
- Virginia State Route 644 (Fairfax County): Intermodal connector along Old Keene Mill Road from SR 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) to Rolling Valley Park and Ride near Shiplett Road in Burke.
- Virginia State Route 784 (Prince William County): Intermodal connector along Dale Boulevard from the Dale City Park and Ride near Minnieville Road in Dale City to I-95.
- Virginia State Route 619 (Prince William County): Main system along Joplin Road from the northern end of Marine Corps Base Quantico southeast to I-95 at Triangle.
- Virginia State Route 650 (Fairfax County): Intermodal connector along Gallows Road from US 29 in Merrifield north to Dunn Loring Station.
- Virginia State Route 703 (Fairfax County): Intermodal connector along Haycock Road from SR 7 in Falls Church to West Falls Church Station.
- Virginia State Route 610 (Stafford County): Intermodal connector along Garrisonville Road from the Garrisonville Park and Ride to I-95 at Aquia Harbor.
- Virginia State Route 649 (Albemarle County): Intermodal connector along Airport Road from Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport east to US 29 near Charlottesville.
- Virginia State Route 631 (Albemarle County) and 5th Street S.W. in the city of Charlottesville: Intermodal connector from I-64 to the Greyhound Lines bus station at US 250 Bus. in Charlottesville.
- Laburnum Avenue in the city of Richmond and Henrico County (maintained by city of Richmond and Henrico County): Main system from SR 895 near Varina north to I-195 in Richmond. This includes part of SR 197 in Richmond.
- Parham Road in Henrico County (maintained by Henrico County): Main system from the northern end of SR 150 east to I-95. The portion between US 1 and I-95 is SR 73, which is state maintained.
- Virginia State Route 653 (Chesterfield County): Principal arterial along Courthouse Road from US 360 north to US 60 and SR 147 in Midlothian.
- Delphine Avenue in the city of Waynesboro (maintained by city of Waynesboro): Principal arterial from I-64 to US 250 and US 340.
- Virginia State Route 641 (York County): Main system from SR 199 near Williamsburg north to Colonial Parkway and Cheatham Annex.
- Hampton Roads Center Parkway (maintained by cities of Newport News and Hampton): Main system from US 60 in Newport News (including portion of Harpersville Road not part of SR 306) east to Armistead Avenue in Hampton.
- Armistead Avenue (maintained by city of Hampton): Main system from Hampton Roads Center Parkway south to US 258 in Hampton; Armistead Avenue continues south as SR 134.
- LaSalle Avenue (maintained by city of Hampton): Main system from I-64 north to Langley Air Force Base.
- Dam Neck Road (maintained by city of Virginia Beach): Principal arterial from SR 165 east to Training Support Center Hampton Roads (Dam Neck) in Virginia Beach.
- London Bridge Road (maintained by city of Virginia Beach): Main system from London Bridge Road near Dam Neck Road at Oceana Naval Air Station north to US 58 and SR 279 in Virginia Beach.
- Oceana Boulevard (maintained by city of Virginia Beach): Main system from Tomcat Boulevard at Oceana Naval Air Station north to I-264 in Virginia Beach.
There may be other secondary state routes that are part of the National Highway System but do not show up on the FHWA maps.
