CORPORATE HISTORY

The Woodstock & Blocton was incorporated July 28, 1906, under the general laws of the State of Alabama. It was incorporated for the mutual benefit of the Southern Railway Company and the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company from freight to be derived from the Blocton Mines of the Tennessee Coal, Iron and Railroad Company. The date of organization was July 28, 1906.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The owned mileage of the Woodstock & Blocton, 8.081 miles, was all acquired by purchase from the Birmingham Southern Railroad Company by deed dated July 31, 1906.
