The railroad of the St. Clair Terminal Railroad Company, herein called the carrier, is a single-track, standard-gauge, steam railroad, located at Clairton, Pa. The carrier wholly owns and uses 10.744 miles of all tracks, and uses but does not own 15.861 miles of all tracks, which are classified in the trackage table in Appendix 1.


CORPORATE HISTORY

The carrier was incorporated June 24, 1901, under the general laws of the State of Pennsylvania.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The owned mileage, aggregating 4.651 miles in length, was acquired by construction. About 1.70 miles were built between November 1, 1902, and January 1, 1903. The remainder of the road was constructed in small sections at different times subsequent to the above dates.
