The railroad of Quincy Western Railway Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge line, situated entirely within Plumas County, Calif. The line extends from Quincy Junction on the Western Pacific Railway Company to Quincy, a distance of 5.389 miles. In addition to this main-line trackage, there is 0.868 mile of other tracks, making a total of 6.257 miles.
Corporate history.—The carrier was incorporated October 1, 1909, under the general laws of California. The railroad of the carrier was constructed primarily by the carrier's own forces between December, 1909, and June 30, 1913. Operation dates from June 15, 1910.
