The railroad of the Norristown Junction Railroad Company, herein called the Norristown Junction Railroad, is a double-track line, 0.335 mile in length, located wholly within the city of Norristown, Pa.

CORPORATE HISTORY

The Norristown Junction Railroad was incorporated November 15, 1879, under the general laws of Pennsylvania. The date of organization was January 22, 1880.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The mileage owned by the Norristown Junction Railroad, amounting to 0.335 mile, was acquired by construction, which was begun in 1880. The road was completed and opened for operation May 1, 1880.
