The railroad of The President and Managers of the Mill Creek and Mine Hill Navigation and Railroad Company, herein called the Mill Creek and Mine Hill Navigation and Railroad, consists of a double-track main line from Mill Creek Junction to Broad Mountain, Pa., a distance of 5.637 miles, including two short single-track branches.


CORPORATE HISTORY

The Mill Creek and Mine Hill was incorporated July 15, 1829[sic - February 7, 1828], by special act of Pennsylvania.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The owned mileage of the Mill Creek and Mine Hill, amounting to 5.637 miles, was originally constructed as a horse railroad in 1829. It was reconstructed to a standard-gage steam railroad in 1845 and 1846.
