The property of Georgia Midland Terminal Company, herein called the Georgia Midland Terminal, consists of right of way, tracks, and a freight depot at Columbus and Griffin, Ga., connecting with the Georgia Midland Railway. The property includes 0.343 mile of yard and side track.
- CORPORATE HISTORY
The Georgia Midland Terminal was incorporated August 23, 1890, for a period of 20 years under a general law of Georgia through filing a petition for incorporation with the Superior Court of Muscogee County. The charter granted was renewed for 20 years by an order issued by that court on May 29, 1911. The date of organization was June 25, 1891.
- DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY
All of the property owned by the Georgia Midland Terminal on date of valuation was constructed by W. S. Greene under contract. The date the property was constructed and put in operation was not obtained.
