The railroad of Cincinnati, Flemingsburg and Southeastern Railroad Company, hereinafter referred to as the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, situated entirely within the State of Kentucky, extending from Flemingsburg Junction to Flemingsburg, a distance of 5.916 miles. The carrier also owns 0.817 mile of yard tracks and sidings, or a total of 6.733 miles of all tracks.

All of the foregoing companies were incorporated in the State of Kentucky. Further information as to the foregoing predecessor companies, so far as it is obtainable, is found in the accounting report on the carrier.
- DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY
The property acquired by the carrier on June 1, 1905, from the Covington, Flemingsburg and Ashland Railway Company consisted of about 17 miles of single-track narrow-gauge railroad extending from Flemingsburg Junction to Hillsboro. The manner and date of construction of this property can not be ascertained, owing to the absence of the accounting records of the several predecessors of the carrier.
Of the road acquired about 11 miles, extending from Flemingsburg to Hillsboro, were abandoned in about May, 1907, leaving 5.916 miles of road in operation on date of valuation. The carrier changed the gauge of its road to standard on about January 1, 1909.
