The railroad of the Chattahoochee Valley Railway Company, hereinafter called the carrier, consists of 42.842 miles of single-track standard-gauge steam railroad located in Alabama and Georgia, extending from Standing Rock, Ala., in a southeasterly direction to West Point, Ga., and continuing in a general southerly direction to Bleecker, Ala.

3. Chattahoochee Valley Railroad Company (second corporation). Under general laws of Georgia, May 10, 1900. Consolidated June 7, 1900, with 2 to form 1.
4. Chattahoochee Valley Railroad Company (first corporation). Under general laws of Alabama, Aug. 28, 1895. Sold and conveyed June 7, 1900, as follows: Property in Alabama to 2, in Georgia to 3.
DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The owned mileage of the carrier, amounting to 42.842 miles, was acquired partly by construction and partly by consolidation. The construction work was performed by its own forces. Of the three corporations that comprise the line of succession culminating in the carrier as at present constituted, only the Chattahoochee Valley Railroad Company (first corporation) constructed any road or other common-carrier property.
