CORPORATE HISTORY

The Catawissa Railroad was incorporated August 14, 1880[sic], by special act of Pennsylvania, for the purpose of acquiring the property of the Catawissa, Williamsport and Erie Railroad Company, which was sold on July 2, 1880[sic], under decree of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
