CORPORATE HISTORY

The Catasauqua and Fogelsville was incorporated July 2, 1853, by special act of the State of Pennsylvania, as the Catasauqua and Fogelsville Plank Road Company, and by special act of the same State, approved April 20, 1854, the name was changed to the present one with authority to construct a railroad instead of a plank road as originally authorized.
