The railroad owned by the Beaver Valley Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, consists of 3.040 miles of single-track standard-gauge steam railroad extending from Beaver to Vanport, Pa. In addition to the main track it owns 0.818 mile of yard tracks and sidings making a total of 3.858 miles of all tracks.


CORPORATE HISTORY

The carrier was incorporated September 28, 1899, under the general laws of the State of Pennsylvania. It was organized on the same date.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The owned mileage of the carrier, extending from Beaver to Vanport, Pa., a distance of 3.040 miles, was all acquired by construction between the fall of 1901 and the fall of 1903.
