David Elliott is a New Zealand politician and Member of Parliament in the House of Representatives for the National Party.

Personal life[edit]

Elliot attended Hastings Boys' High School. He joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force in 1991, becoming a helicopter pilot.[1] When he left the Air Force, Elliot was a pilot for Cathay Pacific. After living in Hong Kong, he returned to New Zealand in 2010.[2]

Political career[edit]

Elliot first contested the National Party selection for the Tukituki seat at the 2017 election, losing to Lawrence Yule. He then contested the Napier electorate, and was selected over local businesswoman Deborah Burnside.[2]
