MCB Director Vote Pages

As many of you know, there has been a movement underway to task somebody as the coordinator of sorts of the MCB wikiproject. One of the questions that have been advanced was what, exactly, the title for this person should be. That is the purpose of this community survey.

Guidelines

[edit]

Below, a number of suggested titles for the new coordinating position are listed. MCB members may vote by adding their name beneath the "support" or "oppose" sections beneath each title; members may support or oppose as many titles as they choose. A member with a suggestion for a title that isn't listed may add it to the bottom of the list. The victor will be determined by the number of net votes (support minus oppose). This vote will remain open for two weeks, and will close on Sunday October 8, 2006. Only members of the WP:MCB project may vote.

  • To me, the other titles seem a little impersonal for our WikiProject, although the prospect of becoming a Coordinatrix is strangely appealing. ;) How about the ambiguous title H.C., which could stand for Head Catalyst, Head Coordinator or (my favorite) Herder of Cats? Seriously, it might be sensible to temper the leadership title with levity and perspective. Willow 10:55, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • As something a bit less formal but relevant to the topic since they are supposed to organise things and get them moving, they could be called the MCB Catalyst.--Peta 05:32, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
