For a successful and informative article it should be written to a format that is pleasant in appreance and diversive.

System articles

A main article should include:

  1. Official map and Logo (use {{fairuse}} if you need to)
  2. Geographical map (with a possible close up of the centre)
  3. A detailed history section including:
  4. Early pre projects
  5. Good coverage of individual segments
  6. A section on architecture and station design
  7. A detailed overview of the operational details with emphasis on
  8. Rolling Stock
  9. Ride Conditions
  10. Admin details
  11. Finally the article should finish off with a good geographical map explaining future developments, both in the near, and far future.
  12. At the footer of the article should be a rich collection of external links and references

Line articles

N.B. for systems that exist only as one line this can and should be integrated into the sections above.

  1. A detailed section on history of the line and its features
  2. A good geographical map
  3. A proper template
  4. Two tables
  5. One on segment openings
  6. One on transfers
  7. Information about the rolling stock
  8. A good summary about the future plans of the line

Station articles

This is paragraph level, although if need to each point can be more than one paragraph long

  1. Introduction about the station, including which line and system it belongs to and date of opening and brief history...if necessary.
  2. A detailed section about its architecture, design and features
  3. Information about the station's geographic location and including non-metro transfers and location of exists.
  4. Transfer information about the station, including details about how the transfer is achieved.
  5. Technical details of the station
  6. Future plans (if any)
  7. External links should be to individual sites' sections about the station and a google maps link centred on the station's location
  8. Images are strongly recommended to have, however please restrict to no more than six on an article a max of two in thumbnails and four in gallery. Use wikicommons where required.
