Rationale: why prioritise certain medical articles?
[edit]Medical articles that contain material on screening are a priority to keep as accurate and as up-to-date as possible. The reason being that people will look up this sort of information before they decide to see a doctor, and hence no doctor has had a chance to talk to and inform them about treatment.
Over-the-counter medications pose a similar problem in that these can be bought at a chemist/drugstore and used with no involvement of health staff.
A person inquiring about prescription-only medications or surgical procedures must (by default) see a medical practitioner, hence that doctor will discuss that with the patient.
