AfD Unsourced article on martial artist who fails WP:MANOTE. I didn't find independent sources. Papaursa (talk) 21:58, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD Fails WP:MANOTE. Notability is not inherited. Papaursa (talk) 22:11, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Afd Fails WP:MANOTE. Papaursa (talk) 01:34, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD Lacks notability and has almost no ghits, if you remove "Van Damme" from the search. Papaursa (talk) 21:58, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD Fails WP:ATH. He competed at a small school, nowhere near the highest level of college competition much less international caliber. His awards are from the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Assoication) not NCAA. Papaursa (talk) 03:14, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep I found a newspaper article about his ISKA world championship so I added it to the article and removed the notability tag. I'm not sure on policy, but shouldn't "Hanshi" not be in the title of this article? Papaursa (talk) 01:34, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Moved. Janggeom (talk) 02:44, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD Notability is not evident, nor could I find third party sourcess. I'm admittedly suspicious of another "family style" martial art. Papaursa (talk) 01:34, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Confused AfD Couldn't find 3rd party sources, but it does seem to be practiced in different countries. I'm confused because I found a site talking about their world championships and described their art as over 70 years old. However, the article says the art was founded in 1972. Papaursa (talk) 01:34, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep BBC documentary is enough notability for me. Technically, it wasn't about him but he is referred to as an expert and is featured demonstrator. Papaursa (talk) 02:11, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Removed notability tag Papaursa (talk) 01:53, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD I can find nothing notable about this group. I put this up for PROD since the article gives no reason the group is notable. Papaursa (talk) 21:58, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD along with his art of Aquathlon (underwater wrestling). He's not notable except for his art and the art's home page lists a grand total of 16 places worldwide that teach it. Do not confuse this art with the better known Aquathlon, which is a swimming event. Papaursa (talk) 02:11, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfDs started on both him and his art Papaursa (talk) 00:03, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Can't find third party sources, but I find so many associated links it's pretty convincing. For example, in the U.S. the National Field Archery Association claims to have 50 start chartered organizations and over 1100 associated clubs. Found associations claiming membership in the IFAA all over the world. Papaursa (talk) 02:11, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Article consists of 1 line, but Sherdog shows him with 33 professional fights. Even with non-notable opponents, I suspect there's no way this would pass WP:AFD. Papaursa (talk) 02:11, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep As a competitor at a world championship he passes WP:ATH. Papaursa (talk) 02:11, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Removed notability tag Papaursa (talk) 01:53, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
