Merge into Ssireum (at best). No claim for notability and no results since 1986. Papaursa (talk) 00:42, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Merge into Ssireum or delete unless someone can find evidence it was covered in Korea. JJL (talk) 20:28, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I put this article up for PROD, but I also notified the author and suggested he might want to merge it into Ssireum. I'd prefer he do the merge since I have no idea what Cheonhajangsa is. Papaursa (talk) 03:03, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Merged Papaursa (talk) 03:42, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep notable. I own at least one book on it. JJL (talk) 20:28, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD 235 hits for "Kapatiran+Arnis"+-wikipedia&start=400&sa=N "Kapatiran Arnis" -wikipedia Mostly hits for a school in Bristol --Natet/c 14:46, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD I know of it but doubt it could be sourced as notable. JJL (talk) 20:28, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD. There is one Black Belt magazine article, but apparently nothing else to support notability. Janggeom (talk) 02:02, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AFD Lack of reliable sources. The article in Black Belt is by one of Karl Marx's (founder of Keichu Do) students, who later was awarded the title of "Soke" by Marx. Papaursa (talk) 19:59, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Film; out of scope. --Natet/c 14:46, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Can find no third party references, but I've judged tournaments with him and he's well known in certain circles. Papaursa (talk) 16:47, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wrong category He's an Israeli academic who's been studying China, but he does not appear to be a martial arts historian. The only thing he's published (or that his web page says he's working on) related to martial arts is a history of the Shaolin temple. Is it possible to just remove him from the "martial arts historian" category? Papaursa (talk) 14:42, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD. I have been unable to find independent and reliable sources so far; does not appear to meet WPMA/N. Janggeom (talk) 02:18, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Lots of ghits, but I can't find independent sourcing. Repeated claims of being "one of the world's oldest Traditional Chinese Shaolin Temple Martial Arts schools." Seems strange for an organization founded in 1954. Papaursa (talk) 19:59, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
2nd AfD 148 hits on "Nam+Yang+Pugilistic+Association"+-wikipedia&aq=f&aqi=&aql=f&oq=&gs_rfai= "Nam Yang Pugilistic Association" -wikipedia not & none look like potential sources no hits on news or scholar searches.

AFD Organization's webpage describes federation president as sole instructor. Don't see how a martial arts school/organization can be considered notable with only one instructor. Papaursa (talk) 19:42, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge. This article could be condensed into one paragraph and merged into Chuck Norris or Pat E. Johnson. Janggeom (talk) 02:24, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
not a merge to Pencak Silat? --Natet/c 14:46, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AfD non-notable sub-style, possible merge to Pencak Silat --Natet/c 14:46, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Category:Years_in_archery [1]
These seem to be a list of categories with a single article: that year archery @ the Olympics, I'd suggest the lot for CfD --Natet/c 12:48, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Leftover

[edit]
Merge and Redirect into article on International Federation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. They were both founded by Carlos Gracie, Jr. and when you click on the external link for this organization it actually takes you to the IBJJF website. Papaursa (talk) 01:56, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
