Bloomsbury Group editathon | |
---|---|
To coincide with the Bloomsbury Festival, Wikimedia UK and Senate House Library organised an editathon focusing on the Bloomsbury Group, hosted at Senate House in central London on 19 October 2013. The aim was to improve the coverage of The Bloomsbury Group. As well as subject expertise, the Senate House provided resources to support editing - Jordan Landes and Richard Espley, the English Librarian, were on hand, both for editing and to help with the library
Participants in the roomThere were also attendees from the Bloomsbury Festival.

Bloomsbury Festival - commentsThis was quite interesting too. I took part in the slow bicycle race in Store Street and got a respectable time. The presentations about the construction of the Senate House and the Ministry of Information were quite good. And the installation of the phantom railings across the road from the Senate House was especially spooky. I wasn't expecting them and so it took me a while to work out that I wasn't being hoaxed myself. Andrew Davidson (talk) 22:32, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
