Wikipedia for Librarians is a campaign initiated by Wikimedia User Group Nigeria to train Librarians on how to edit and contribute to Wikipedia and other Wikimedia sisters project in various tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This maiden edition will be kicked off at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Activities will include new editor orientation, training, Wiki data process and citation process. Its a closed event with 50 specific target audience in mind. Refreshments and facility generously supplied by management of the Nimbe Adedipe Library of the Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

[edit]- To introduce 50 Nigerian Librarians to digital inclusion and data
analysis through the use of Wikipedia, the world largest online encyclopedia. .
- To train the Librarians on how to use Wikidata.
- To create various contents related to libraries .
