Leeds to Innovation is an exhibition running at Leeds Industrial Museum until 2021. It highlights the makers, inventors and entrepeneurs behind some of Leeds (& the world's) best known inventions! Some of the people featured, whose articles could do with expansion, include:

• William Aspdin - inventor of concrete
• Benjamin Gott - textiles giant and builder of the one-time world's largest woollen mill, Leeds Industrial Museum
• Eileen Ingham - scientist at the University of Leeds
• Elizabeth Beecroft - owner of Kirkstall Forge
• Washington Teasdale - engineer, astronomer, photographer and microscopist
• John Smeaton - father of civil engineering
• Harris Sumrie - Jewish textiles pioneer

Others, who are notable, but don't currently have articles, include:

• Brian Boffey - inventor of Jelly Tots
• Robert Fourness - the inventor of a steam-powered autombile
• William Sykes Ward - engineer
