Fourteen articles are at FA level and seventeen are GA level articles, with no change to articles at FA status and a decrease of two GA status.
The Food Portal has been updated for the month of September. "The Green Fairy" makes a visit to the featured article spot and a quote by Oscar Wilde graces the page while a French culinary pioneer is the featured person of the month. Stop by and check out the featured picture of the famed Commander's Palace, which shows the recent renovations which took place after Hurricane Katrina. There are also some interesting facts under the "Did you know" heading. The news section is updated periodically during the course of the month, sometimes I am more diligent in updating it during some months more than others.
Articles can be "tagged" currently by placing {{WikiProject Food and drink}} in an article's talk page. Please help out with accessing articles for the project once they are tagged as well. This is a tedious job for the few people who are doing it right now. Listed here are other tags you can use for identifying articles as well as yourself as a member of the project and some other useful items as well.
I'm still trying to find the time to create a promotion tag for members to use as well as one to put on our assessment banner, until then it is encouraged that current members invite others that are working on food and drink related articles to become members of the project by placing a personal invitation on their discussion pages along with a link to the project.

noblevmy(talk·contribs·count) - I love traditional Kerala food (South Indian). Interested in researching the role of "Kubbus" in the survival of Expatriates in Gulf countries.
Angela C(talk·contribs·count) - Foods; Cooking and nutrition; Vegan and vegetarian and special diets. I enjoy doing lists and links. I would also like to help with categorization. I could help tag talk pages with Project banner as I edit.
This is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue (October 2007). Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to Christopher Tanner, CCC
