This project would cover all aspects of Norse mythology and be a child of the Mythology and Norse history and culture projects. It would cover only the mythology of the Norse people, in Scandanavia and elsewhere, up until the rise of Christianity. ErikTheBikeMan (talk) 22:23, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong Support. Every culture needs its own mythology project, especially the Norse. That goes for Greco-Roman, Egyptian, Indian, Native American, Gothic, and many more. I don't have much to contribute, but I love learning about mythology and would benefit from such a project. Bob the Wikipedian (talk • contribs) 21:36, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose
[edit]- Secisek (talk) 21:39, 8 January 2009 (UTC) I recommend that the intrested editors form a work group of WikiProject Mythology. This still allows for greater focus on Norse mythology, but without having to start a whole new project from scratch: templates, stubs, banners, etc.[reply]
- John Carter (talk) 20:44, 8 February 2009 (UTC) - Agree with Secisek above, that setup as a task force would probably work better.[reply]
Neutral
[edit]- The suggestion of making it a task force of the Mythology project makes sense. I'm interested in it whether it becomes a TF or its own WP. Aleta Sing 20:35, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
