Description
[edit]A project to expand, and ensure quality of content in articles pertinent to human rights in China. A lot of pages in this category could do with additions based on good research and academic sources. A lot of these pages currently carry few sources, and, in certain cases, even base some of their commentary on propagandistic versions of Chinese History. The project seeks to expand these pages, and align their content with that of mainstream academia. Dilip rajeev (talk) 16:48, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion
[edit]Should this be a sub-project or working group of WP:WikiProject China? ɳorɑfʈ Talk! 12:17, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- You know, I thought a little more about it, and I think a WikiProject like this is a good idea. I'd structure it similarly to the Christianity in China work group, which has WikiProject Christianity and WikiProject China as parent projects, as per their project page. I think that WikiProject Human rights and WikiProject China are really parent projects of what you are proposing, and that's a good thing, because you can get supporters from both. Good luck! ɳorɑfʈ Talk! 12:29, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks, friend. :) And I agree with what you point out. They are parent-projects of this endeavor. Wiki pages on the topic are still rather limited in scope, content and coverage. There is a lot of work to be done and the more the editors we can involve, the better.Dilip rajeev (talk) 07:27, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
