Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Computer Programming
- The following discussion is an archived proposal of the WikiProject below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the project's talk page (if created) or the WikiProject Council). No further edits should be made to this page.
The proposed WikiProject was not created. Insufficient editor interest to start a separate WikiProject. Nom has started a task force page at Project:WikiProject Computing/Computer Programming task force Ajpolino (talk) 14:34, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
- I want to create a seperate WikiProject because I believe that this topic, Computer Programming deserves its own seperate WikiProject. On the other hand, I might just start a task force.
Support
[edit]Also, specify whether or not you would join the project.
Questions
[edit]Why is too big and too general a problem? Most of these existing projects are pretty quiet. There doesn't seem to be a risk of computer programming initiatives getting buried in the noise if you bring them. ~Kvng (talk) 13:16, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Oh, I'll just start a task force then. -RH9 21:51, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Having recently revived a project that, despite the revival, may be too narrow in scope to maintain, I advise proposing a task force to one of the related projects. —¿philoserf? (talk) 21:35, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- It is now a task force of WikiProject Computing -RH9 00:57, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
