Class can be assigned any of the following values. The first four are determined by peer review, while the rest can be assigned by anyone, but should be chosen according to our criteria.
B (B-Class; Complete Infobox and Exit list; Coherent and comprehensive History and Route description; Well sourced by reliable sources)
C (C-Class; Established Infobox and Exit list; beginnings of History and Route description; Some reliable sources)
Start (Less than C-Class, has Infobox, and a basic description of a paragraph or more)
Stub (Short one or two sentences, often no Infobox or sourcing. Delete or cleanup)
List (For articles that are lists)
Category (For categories)

Ensure this is set in addition to class, as it is important that we distinguish articles that are keystones in the project (ie Provincial Highways in Ontario) from those that are relatively unimportant (ie Kawartha Lakes Road 17). Use our criteria to determine which of the following to use.
Top (Noteworthy roads outside of Canada: Yonge, Bloor, Highway 401, Queen Elizabeth Way
High (Lists of roads, Highway 2, 3, 11, 17, 69, 400, 402–427)
Mid (For all current King's Highways (excluding those listed above), all municipal expressways, and a handful of especially significant Secondary highways)
Low (For all former King's Highways that do not meet one of the above conditions, notable regional/county numbered roads with a documented history, and for most Secondary and Tertiary highways)
