@VIMALKUMAR PAREKH: this draft has been rejected and will therefore not be considered further. It is completely unreferenced, with no indication that the subject is notable.
You have been already advised not to write about yourself. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a social media platform. You may wish to consider using LinkedIn or similar instead. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:06, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

hello I'm trying to publish my article but I won't get published there saying I need references but I don't know how to put any Iloveindia 2345 (talk) 06:33, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Iloveindia 2345: from where did you get all that information? The way you tell us that, is by citing your sources – see WP:REFB for advice.
Or if, as I rather suspect based on the style of writing, this is your own views and reflections on the topic, then please note that Wikipedia does not publish personal blogs or essays. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:00, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

12:36, 15 December 2023 review of submission by Stephanlux87

[edit]

Hi, as my draft are constantly being refused. Would like to know what is missing/wrong on it. Tried to add as many references as possible. Sports-teams don't have much visibility in Luxembourg. Thanks for your help Stephanlux87 (talk) 12:36, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Stephanlux87: it's not a question of adding "as many references as possible", but as good ones as possible. The sources either are primary, or provide only passing mentions of the subject, and neither type counts towards notability per WP:GNG (by way of WP:NTEAM). -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:43, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

12:41, 15 December 2023 review of submission by Mgjanulaitis

[edit]

My company article was declined however I followed the same format as other companies. For example, a company I did business with and actually references my company has a very similar page. What is the difference between https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Veriato and https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Corner_Bowl_Software ? Mgjanulaitis (talk) 12:41, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Mgjanulaitis: your draft does not show that the company is notable per WP:NCORP, as it cites only primary sources. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:57, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your comment is like "My house, (which I built without knowing anything about surveying, legal requirements, or construction techniques) looks very like some other ones. Why did it fall down?" The answer is that you have not yet learnt how to build a house that stands up. Please see WP:YFA. ColinFine (talk) 21:58, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I don't really know why my article was declined. Can you please tell me why? 65.18.48.15 (talk) 13:40, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The answer is on your talk page, twice. You have not provided references to suitable sources that show that the subject meets the criteria for notability. ColinFine (talk) 22:02, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

can you please tell me why? This article has references and I worked hard 65.18.48.15 (talk) 13:42, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Wikipedia is an online encyclopaedia for notable topics. I would recommend improving the Fandom website https://sing.fandom.com/wiki/Jimmy_Crystal instead. Qcne (talk) 13:45, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

15:10, 15 December 2023 review of submission by RoboFemme

[edit]

Dear reviewers,

Our Draft on Claudia Pohlink was declined, as far as I understood it, due to unreferenced sections and external links.

Since this is a page about one of the top AI experts in Germany, we wanted to showcase her on Wikipedia. I don't know how to address the unreferenced section. I got the information from her LinkedIn page and CV directly. Are there better ways to reference a career on Wikipedia? Could you provide some advice for me?

Regarding the external links, I added them to her achievements and the prices she won. Shall I remove the links and leave a reference there? Unfortunately, these prices have no pages on Wikipedia, so I cannot link a Wiki page, only the original one. Any advice on this section?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Women in AI & Robotics (talk) 15:10, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@RoboFemme: regardless of where you got the information from, you need to tell us by citing your sources. (If, as you say, you got it mostly from close primary sources, then that raises its own set of problems, but at least we then know where it came from.) In articles on living people (WP:BLP), every material statement, anything potentially contentious, and all private personal and family details must be clearly supported by inline citations.
If you can reuse the external links as references, please do. Inline external links are not allowed, whereas inline citations are required, as per my earlier point.
BTW, who is "we", "our", etc. in your question? Please note that Wikipedia user accounts are strictly for use by one individual only. If there are more than one of you editing, you need to set up your own accounts, if you haven't already. Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:19, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
First, another way of saying we wanted to showcase her on Wikipedia would be "we wanted to promote her on Wikipedia. This is a purpose which is fundamentally inconsistent with the purposes of Wikipedia. Promotion of any kind is forbidden anywhere on Wikipedia.
Secondly, Wikipedia is not interested in what the subject of an article says or wants to say about themselves, or what their associates say about them. Wikipedia is only interested in what people who have no connection with the subject, and who have not been prompted or fed information on behalf of the subject, have chosen to publish about the subject in reliable sources.. Her CV and her Linkedin profile are almost completely irrelevant to a Wikipedia article about her. Your very very very first task in writing a Wikipedia article is to find independent reliable sources about the subject. If you can't find any, then you know that the subject does not currently meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability, and all further work you put in will be wasted. 16:53, 15 December 2023 review of submission by Ad013024

[edit]

Is this page submitted for review? Ad013024 (talk) 16:53, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You created an article directly in the encyclopedia, if you intended to submit a draft, you didn't. 331dot (talk) 16:56, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How do I submit a draft for review? Ad013024 (talk) 16:57, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Ad013024 Since your clear intent was to create it in a draft and submit it for review I have converted it into a draft. You can find it at Draft:C11orf91 Seawolf35 T--C 17:10, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I would like to know what would be needed for this page to be published. Which other sources can I add? What can be improved or what further links or information is needed? 62.99.252.134 (talk) 17:20, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed your link to your draft(it lacked the "Draft:"). Remember to log in when posting. Please see the advice left by reviewers. You need independent reliable sources with significant coverage of this topic. 331dot (talk) 19:51, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

18:49, 15 December 2023 review of submission by Auz24Lam2028

[edit]

I see this article was not considered notable for wikipedia. Is there any way to redraft it and make it acceptable. Auz24Lam2028 (talk) 18:49, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Auz24Lam2028 Rejection means that there is nothing you can do. No amount of editing can confer notability on a topic. 331dot (talk) 20:40, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing, it was a blatant advertisment and has now been deleted. Please read WP:PROMO and WP:COI. 331dot (talk) 21:12, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
