Hello. I'm really trying to do this right without upsetting the editors. I've done Google searches and You Tube video instructions.....I'm still so confused on how to start creating a page. Hoping there is a template or a really great example to follow. I'm an actor in Atlanta....have some projects under my belt, and a website and listed on IMDb. Trying to build my following and having my name searchable in Wikipedia allows my followers to learn more about me. Thank you again!

Read WP:AUTOBIO, WP:COI and WP:ENT then go improve some other pages that have nothing to do with you before you even think of trying to use Wikipedia to promote your own career. Cheers. Legacypac (talk) 02:03, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to be included on the Wikipedia network in order to be linked from my band’s page, Weaves. Have I not included e ought citations or information? Please let me know what I have done wrong. Thank you!

See WP:COI and WP:BAND where you will find individual members of a notable band do not get pages about themselves unless they are individually notable. Legacypac (talk) 20:12, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. I initially submitted the Wiki New page in Telugu Wikipedia. I am not so sure why is that sent to English version. I did the update again in Telugu Wikipedia and ready to go online. But I realized that there is a comment line about declining by Bkissin in Telugu Page and it said I should not remove that. I am now trying to do the same process, adding few more links to update the page, all in Telugu Wikipedia. This is the link: https://te.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%B0%B5%E0%B0%BE%E0%B0%A1%E0%B1%81%E0%B0%95%E0%B0%B0%E0%B0%BF:Vmudunuru/%E0%B0%AA%E0%B1%8D%E0%B0%B0%E0%B0%AF%E0%B1%8B%E0%B0%97%E0%B0%B6%E0%B0%BE%E0%B0%B2

Let me know how to proceed from here. Thank you,

English Wikipedia has no control over any other language Wikipedia. Each project has it's own policies and editors. You can remove the comments you must have copied over to the other project's page. Good luck. Legacypac (talk) 20:08, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly is wrong and where do I find where I am not speaking in third person. I've been assisted by fellow wiki editors in person and they've said the article is written well. I have also had help from professors in college. Please get back to me. thank you. SHALOM 21:41, 16 February 2019 (UTC) SHALOM 21:41, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

You've got to get rid of the promotional crap, from the froth about "grateful to exercise his genius in this genre" to words like (FROM A SINGLE PARAGRAPH, mind you), "monumental influence," "major hit," "massive online following", "notorious" etc. We don't want press releases and PR language, we want simple declarative statements without fluff or puffery. --Orange Mike | Talk 01:11, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
