Crazygoodjokes (talk) 14:01, 2 September 2018 (UTC) Hi anybody kmow why my artical was removed[reply]

Hi @Crazygoodjokes:. Articles in wikipedia must establish a thing called "notability" (which is distinct from importance). Since Rabbi Smith is presumably most notable for his literature, you need to demonstrate notability on our author guidelines. To save you from hunting for them, I'll post the two most usual justifications used:
  1. The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors.
  2. The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews.
This means you need reliable, secondary, sources (trustworthy newspapers, journal articles, books etc) that are independent (not linked to the Rabbi) that have discussed his work in detail. This is often a couple of reviews, but a reliable book that discusses his work could also count.
At the moment, your sources are either: links on where to buy the books, or not independent of the Rabbi, so they need to be improved. Nosebagbear (talk) 16:37, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Sorry you're frustrated with the wait times, but we have over two and a half THOUSAND drafts to review. As we're all volunteers, getting to your draft may take some time. Apologies for the delay. Best, ProgrammingGeek talktome 00:31, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
