Hey Liliya Yu. Content on Wikipedia should include inline citations to make it clear where the information included in an article comes from. Your draft currently does not include these, which makes it difficult to verify the content and tell whether it came from a reliable source. Hello,

I submitted a page to Wikipedia for Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc. Under username Konica411. My username was blocked and my post deleted, because it was said to be advertising. I tried to go and edit my draft but found my draft to be deleted as well. I have created a new account and would like to try again to create a page for Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc. I don't understand how the first draft is being called advertising - when one of our competitors basically has the same type of page. Please tell me how can I create a page for Konica Minolta that is not construed as advertising.

Hi Lauren The takeaway from your experience so far should be that Wikipedia has a conflict of interest guideline and a paid-contribution policy. Before anything else, you need to comply with the disclosure requirements as outlined on your user page.
Although Wikipedia does not prohibit editing with a conflict of interest, I cannot emphasize enough that doing so is a really, really, really bad idea. Draft:Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc. was deleted because it read like something produced by the firm's marketing department. The fact that it isn't obvious to you that the draft was promotional perfectly illustrates why you shouldn't edit on the topic.
What is the alternative? You may find WP:BFAQ#COMPANY useful. Gather sources that are independent of the company - nothing from their web sites, no press releases, no interviews of company executives. Independent sources are needed to satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria, and the bulk of any article should be based on such sources. Think The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, JAMA, and the like. Independent sources will also help avoid meaningless marketing-speak like "world-class", "provide", "solutions", "globally recognized", "leader", "cutting-edge", "comprehensive", etc. If there aren't enough independent sources to warrant a stand alone article, then there may be enough to justify a paragraph in the article about the parent, Konica Minolta.
You wrote that "one of our competitors" has a similar page. Wikipedia is forever a work in progress. It contains low quality content and high quality content. The fact that an article exists that does not meet Wikipedia's policies and guidelines is not a good reason to create another such article. It may be simply that no one has gotten around to deleting the offending article yet. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS for more information. Hey, is it at all possible for my draft of the Fifteen-ball pool article to be restored. I did not intend to submit it in it's incomplete state. What I should have done was moved it to my sandbox as I had to stop working on it to attend to other needs. The article was marked for speedy deletion for copyright violation of a webpage I had never been to. I merely copied the wording of the first paragraph of the 8-ball pool Wikipedia article.
