Hello, Dscltd. Thank you for your interest in Wikipedia. Did you have a specific question? NewYorkActuary (talk) 11:11, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

21:52:24, 15 January 2017 review of draft by MrJamesBehan

[edit]

How do I change the name/title of my draft article? I have called it "Dead zone" which is an American football concept but I don't want it to be confused with other Dead Zones here on Wikipedia so now I would like to title it "Dead zone (gridiron football)", but I can't find a way to edit the actual name of the draft article. Hello, James. Your draft is now located at Draft:Dead zone (American football). NewYorkActuary (talk) 22:14, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. "American football" is the term that Wikipedia generally uses to describe the-sport-that-isn't-soccer. NewYorkActuary (talk) 22:17, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I don't understand why my articles were deleted. It's not a hoax, its really exists. On the French Wikipédia, there is no sources and it seems not to be problematic. I added sources. What are we going to do now? Cordially. Jean Fume (talk) 23:54, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your articles were not deleted. They were declined, and are still in draft space. No one suggested that these mountains do not exist. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:23, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A few comments are in order. First, there is a difference between having a draft declined and having a draft or article deleted. If a draft is declined, it still exists in draft space. It just isn't in article space. Your drafts were declined, and are still in draft space. Second, as to why the drafts were declined, please ask the reviewer, User:MatthewVanitas. The subjects of the two articles appear to be named places, and it is my understanding that we generally accept articles on legally recognized named places, so ask what if anything needs to be added to get them accepted. However, third, the French Wikipedia and the English Wikipedia are two different projects and have different standards, and we have many articles that are not in the French Wikipedia, but there are also articles that are in the French Wikipedia that we do not have. Just because an article is in the French Wikipedia does not always mean that it passes our standards. So ask the reviewer what your articles need.
