- Hello, Vikash. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. Both of the reviewers who declined your submission noted that you failed to demonstrate that the subject is "notable" in the sense that Wikipedia uses the word. For this subject, that would mean satisfying at least one of the criteria set forth in WP:FILMMAKER. And from what I see, you have not made that demonstration. Nor have you even provided anything approaching the in-depth, independent coverage of the subject that would be needed for finding notability under the general guidelines of WP:GNG. Nor, frankly, have you even provided reliable references for the subject having been the art director for all of the films listed in the Filmography section (and note that IMDB will not be a reliable source for this information). In all, I believe that the two previous reviewers were correct in declining your submission. If you believe that the subject is truly "notable" in the sense that Wikipedia requires, then you will need to present better evidence. I hope this response has been helpful. I'm having trouble creating an article "Dan Olsen" as I have re-submitted many times but the message says "This article would be greatly improved if the style more closely followed WP:MOS". However I'm having trouble following WP:MOS and don't understand the article. Is there any way of a user creating the article for me if I provided all the necessary information, references and links? It would help me out greatly as I'm struggling to create the article. Thank you.

- Hello, Luc. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. With regard to your specific question, we do not have any structured system whereby you can ask that someone else write your article for you. However, you can drop by the Talk page of WP:WikiProject Musicians and make an informal request there, but I doubt that you will find any volunteers (because most editors here are busy working on their own articles). The better approach will be to read the guidance at WP:Writing your first article and at our WP:Tutorial, which will provide information about the basic elements of our Manual of Style. You might also take a look at some of our best-quality articles on singers and songwriters, such as Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Michael Jackson or Mariah Carey. By studying these articles, you can become familiar with how our Manual of Style is applied. But the more basic issue facing your submission is the one that you didn't ask about -- three of the four reviewers who declined your submission have noted your failure to demonstrate "notability" in the sense that Wikipedia uses that word. You will need to demonstrate that the subject of your article has received in-depth coverage from multiple reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Thus far, you have not made that demonstration and, without it, no amount of attention to styling will make your submission acceptable for publication. On a final note, I see that your username is similar to the name of the subject's management company. If you are affiliated in any way with the subject, then you probably should not be trying to write an article about him. See our guidelines on conflict of interest for more detail. [edit]Draft: Novitex Enterprise Solutions My article was declined because you said I had used copyrighted language. While the language does also appear on my company's website, I myself wrote it. Altering the text just for the sake of making it appear differently on wikipedia, than on my own site, would make the language less accurate, and less economical.
I would like to see my article approved in it's current form, as that is the most accurate, and economical version of that text. Also, I actually did make a substantial number of edits from what appears on the Novitex site, and what appears on Wikipedia.

- Hello, Peter. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. Your submission was not simply declined, the draft itself was deleted a few days ago for copyright violations. Even if you were the original author of the text on the Novitex web site, that does not necessarily mean that you continue to hold copyright in that work. Indeed, the website itself says that you do not hold that copyright, because it asserts that the company holds the copyright. If you do wish to try again at creating an acceptable article, it will not be possible for you to duplicate anybody's copyrighted text, and this includes text that is copyrighted by your company. By the way, our guidelines on conflict of interest discourage you from writing an article about your own company. Please see that guidance for more detail. I hope this response has been helpful. I’m looking for help with a Wikipedia page I submitted. My submission was rejected by the editors because of the references noted in the article and the editor said the author was not notable. The author has published 9 books, received a COVR Award, received an IPPY award, and had two reviews for books in Publisher's Weekly. She also has a #1 new release on Amazon.com. - The author has published in a specialize press devoted to her field of " practical magic"; the references are not independent, but from those of the same specialty. There is no general notice, very few library holdings, no outside reviews. There is consequently no possibility of notability. Each article is judged on its own merits, but at least Cunningham's books have been more successful, and I have strong doubts about Penczak's notability. DGG ( talk ) 03:49, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
