04:44:11, 26 August 2017 review of submission by Aniket.roy.10

[edit]

I wanted to ask some questions regarding the process of article review. It has been around 20-25 days since I have submitted an article for re-review but I am yet to recieve a response. Earlier, when I had submitted that particular article for review, the response was very quick(within 3-4 days) but, this time its taking longer than usual. I wanted to know if there's been any mistake from my side while submitting that article ? If yes, then how may I fix that? Aniket.roy.10 (talk) 04:44, 26 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Aniket.roy.10. The draft is in the pool to be reviewed. About 200 drafts have been waiting longer, so it may take another week or two before a volunteer reaches it. The time between submission and review varies enormously according to the nature of the drafts in the pool and the inclinations of the available reviewers. By far the most common neophyte mistake is submitting a draft about a topic that is unsuitable for the encyclopedia. If you have made that mistake, then no amount of editing can fix it. --Worldbruce (talk) 14:53, 26 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi The Real Simba. See Wikipedia:No amount of editing can overcome a lack of notability. --Worldbruce (talk) 14:24, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
