[edit]

Hi, My apologies about not updating the review in 12 months. Unfortunately I had personal matters that took me away from my work. I have turned my mind to updating the work and adding numerous external soucres and removing certain sources. I hope this is now sufficient. If not I look forward to hearing your thoughts and making those changes. Thanks again, Tom

You should request undeletion at Requests for undeletion. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:10, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am trying to create a page but my request is being denied Tinashe Wagner Makoni 10:43, 6 October 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tinashe makoni (talkcontribs)

You have submitted your sandbox for review. It is now waiting for a reviewer to consider it. As it has no content at all, the reviewer will certainly reject it. Maproom (talk) 10:48, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are 1,100+ articles awaiting review. We ask that you be patient when awaiting a response. Regards, JTP (talkcontribs) 17:33, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As per your request, I have reviewed your submission and declined it. It doesn't provide in-depth coverage of the company by independent sources. Robert McClenon (talk) 19:24, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My submission was declined on the basis that the subject clearly doesn't meet your guideline for musicians. I did read these guidelines before I began the page. I thought it met in particular the first part of the criteria for musicians and ensembles. I modelled the page on the following clearly prominent music artists:

John Lee Hooker Leonard Cohen Elvis Presley Bob Dylan The Rolling Stones Nick Cave David Bowie

I used the same publications and websites for references (Q, Mojo, The Wire, Uncut, The Quietus, Under the Radar, Clash, Fact, NME, AllMusic, Discogs), together with other notable national publications (the newspapers The Scotsman, The National) and websites (Tate).

I don't want this to seem as if I'm unduly relying on the "what about x?" argument, beyond all abstract guidelines needing to be anchored in inevitable precedence/example, as the "what about x?" wiki page accepts.

(I also used the wikipedia entries for Ela's contemporaries, such as Slim Twig, U.S. Girls and Dirty Beaches, with whom she's recorded split albums, as models. Also many similar artists including People Like Us, Peaking Lights, Pocahaunted, The Space Lady and Saturday Looks Good To Me.)

Below the statement by the reviewer, a comment was left that your submission may not be notable enough to have its own page. JTP (talkcontribs) 19:39, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
