Review of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/One Call Insurance

Hi there, I have submitted this article:

and am wondering why it has been declined? The information in it is accurate and correct.

If it is the case that the company is not seen as 'noteable' how else can I get information about them on wikipedia?

Firstly, the submission should be called Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/One Call Insurance. It's probably been declined because the references cited are more about Doncaster Rovers than the company themselves. Indeed, if you click here you will get a Google News search, and most of the sources refer to the football team, with the insurance company being just a footnote. You might just have to settle for a section in the Doncaster Rovers article with One Call Insurance as a redirect. In general, articles about insurance companies tend to be a bit weak - probably the best one is comparethemarket.com, but again that's due to the extensive Compare the Meerkat advertising campaign which is probably more notable than the broker themselves. Hi Ritchie - thanks for the guidance. Ive been asked to take a lead from the Direct Line page - and although they have two refernces in there, there isnt really much else that differs on their page than on ours?

There is a backlog of over 2,000 submissions currently, so it will take several weeks for them to be reviewed. Please be patient. Review of Francis Ruddle

Done Hi I have been updating the page I created about my ancestor Francis Ruddle, including fixing the problem noted by reviewer Ochiwar with the lack of page references. I have marked all these as minor edits bt I'm now thinking that this was a mistake as I now need somebody with the power to remove the editing comment about the lack of full references. The draft was deleted as a copyright violation. We cannot restore copyright violations. You will have to rewrite the draft from scratch, summarizing in your own words what reliable sources have to say about the club. Huon (talk) 17:06, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
