Hi, I am totally a new user to wiki, so i would like ask the list of reasons of rejection of my submission. So that i can rectify my mistakes and resubmit my article. I have also seen a wiki article about a person who is not even comparative to the person whom my article is about. If there are some technical mistakes please let me know.

Thanks,

Hi 23Shammy, welcome to Wikipedia. The main problem with your article is that it contains only one reference. Everything in Wikipedia must have reliable, independent sources to support the material in the article. Take a look at WP:42 for more information about that. Also, take a look at the referencing guide for beginners for more on how to format references. Hope this helps! Howicus (talk) 15:11, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have images of paintings related to this article...yet found no invitation/method to upload them. Does that come later?18:12, 17 August 2013 (UTC)Montpine (talk)

When and how images are added depends primarily on the copyright status of the images - and that can be very comlicated to figure out. Images that are definitely free of all copyright restructions can be uploaded to Commons, from where they can be used by anyone for any purpose, including being modified and/or sold for profit. If the image is subject to copyright it may, under certain circumstances and conditions be uploaded to the English Wikipedia and can then be used on one article in mainspace only. Fair use images may not be used on drafts, Talk pages, User pages, etc, only actual articles.
Short answer - get the writing up to standard and the article approved before concerning yourself with the images. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 19:16, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
