Hello,

My article about a company, Swiftflow, has been declined and the message suggests that I can review it to see what comments were left by the reviewer, but I can't work out how to see the article. Please can you advise?

Many thanks Charlottee Melville — Preceding unsigned comment added by Charlotte Melville (talkcontribs) 09:49, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You can find the article at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Swiftflow. Eclipsed   (talk)   (COI Declaration)   10:27, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, i just wanted to understand how i can get my article approved. The first time i submitted the article it was declined because there were no citations or notability. However I fell that I fixed the issue but it was declined again for the same reason. Escapees if the third largest RV Club in the world, so I believe that would make it notable. I would just like more guidance on how to fix the issue and to get the article approved. Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Escapees_RV_Club

Thank you, Travis Carr EscapeesRVClub

You only list one independent source in your citations, The New York Times.  Most reviewers would like to see 2 or 3 independent sources.   Considering the size of your article, 2 or 3 would be minimal.   :- ) DCS 19:24, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering how many more outside sources I need to include to get the page approved. I have one news article from NPR and there are blog references about Folkstreams around the web as well. Do I just need a wider variety of sources?Holl!12 (talk) 15:31, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Holl!12,
To establish notability, most reviewers want to see 2 or 3 independent sources.  Blogs are not generally considered reliable.  If contentious claims are made, then sources would be required for verification.  The more contentious the claim, the more references needed.   :- ) DCS 19:35, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I used the article creation wizard for the first time, unaware that it would then have to go to review. I created John Ashton (Public health director) and removed the review request from the page Do I need to do anything else? Apologies and thanks JRPG (talk) 18:21, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shame, shame.  Fortunately I looked at your article, it looks very well sourced, so there should be no problem.  New Page Patrol will probably also look it over in a few days.  I will mark your submission for deletion.  You may want to add a link to the John Ashton disambiguation page, if someone does not beat you to it.  Thanks for your contribution.   :- ) DCS 19:46, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Disambiguation done. Any other ideas/criticisms/contributions to the article fully appreciated :)JRPG (talk) 20:08, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
