The page for John Volken forwards to United Furniture Warehouse, which he is no longer the CEO of and is receiving much notable press attention for what he is currently doing. How do I go about getting the John Volken page published with info about his life rather than info about United Furniture Warehouse? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Courtneywh (talkcontribs) 00:53, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Working on it....article will be created shortly. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 01:58, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Article was created, although I think you already know that. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 00:23, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I created this UPM article to be identical to Oh No Oh My Rock Bank found here at http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Oh_No_Oh_My. Please explain to me the difference in this UPM article and the Oh No Oh My article. I have the SAME number of References and the type of information is formatted the same.

Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ewilliams60083 (talkcontribs) 05:03, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Thanks for bringing the Oh No Oh My article to my attention.  I do not believe it meets notability requirements and should probably be improved or deleted.
  2. As to the number of references, the only reference in your article that mentions UPN is the one from the Sun Times.
  3. Oh No Oh My is a music group.  UPN is a company, though not important at this time, they have different notability requirements.  Please see WP:ORG and WP:NMUSIC.
Thanks for your efforts. :- ) DCS 03:23, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Assuming you're trying to write an article about the listed topic:
  1. Navigate to the article.
  2. Click the "edit" button on top of the article.
  3. Type in the box, press "save page".
  4. Add {{AFC submission}} when you're done.
If you want to make a new article, use the article wizard instead. If you need more help, try the main help desk. A412 (TalkC) 05:24, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
