[edit]

I need some help with my article, Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Fearless_Vampire_Killers_(band). I submitted it for review and I was told that 'this submission's references do not adequately evidence the subject's notability—see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics and the golden rule. Please improve the submission's referencing, so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia.'

They meet the criteria of notability in two ways, as far as I can see. They have 'been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself' (Kerrang, Guardian Newspaper, Rocksound, Artrocker, Big Cheese, et cetera) and have 'been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio or music television network' (two of their videos, Fetish for the Finite and Bow Ties on Dead Guys are both regularly played by Kerrang! and Scuzz TV.) I've added references for these where I can, but unfortunately I can't reference the second one very well. However, I have added references to articles as well as printed publications, including page numbers and issue numbers.

Can someone please tell me how I can improve the article, at least in terms of references to verify their notability? Thank you very much. Chaotezy (talk) 15:19, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
