Wikipedia assignment

[edit]

Students will select an article topic and compare between the English version of the article and the student's primary language version. Students are editing on various languages and summarizing their experiences and why they made those edits in a reflection paper. The goal of this assignment is to encourage critical thinking about the creation and use of wikis and for students to learn how to read and create Wikipedia articles as an educational tool.
