Redundant, undocumented flag templates created in error. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:35, 29 February 2024 (UTC)

- Template:Cite gotham (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
This is generally not how citation templates work, and it was rather confusing to encounter when copying this citation between articles. It can just be substituted; it seems there's no harm in citing the same book many times using {{cite book}} as we normally do. -- Beland (talk) 09:06, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. This is a normal wrapper template for a Citation Style 1 template, no different from others in Category:Templates that wrap Cite book or Category:Templates that wrap Cite web. It makes it easy to cite the same book in multiple articles, as shown by its 100+ transclusions. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:38, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. The template is fairly extensively used, and there is no valid policy-based reason given for deletion. Beyond My Ken (talk) 02:20, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
