- Template:Sarah Fimm (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
I've already redirected most of the other related articles that I created to the Sarah Fimm article, which I'm hoping to expand so that it at least can stay.--Shaneymike (talk) 17:33, 8 March 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose Because the nominator redirected articles before this TFD. I'm not interested in or knowledgable about the topic enough to pass judgment on the articles, but emptying out a template before nominating for deletion is akin to emptying a category before a WP:CFD and in that case is explicitly written that it shouldn't be done....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 22:16, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
- WilliamJE did you check the edit history for the five articles? Shaneymike wrote all of them: [1], [2], [3], [4], and [5]. and, if you check the edit history for this template, the same applies. Frietjes (talk) 14:54, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
- No I didn't check but why didn't he just ask for speedy deletion of the template....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 14:56, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was no consensus. There is NPASR because of the lack of comment from the previous advocates for deletion following a change in content. Primefac (talk) 15:03, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- Template:Satellite Award for Outstanding Motion Picture Ensemble (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:Satellite Award for Best Cast – Motion Picture (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Naboxes with ensemble casts like this do not perform a useful navigational function. I don't really think that anyone would want to navigate between, say, Billy Magnussen and Mary J. Blige in this manner. This kind of information belongs in an article, not a navbox. I'm nominating these as a test case, as there are many others like this, to gauge opinion on whether navboxes of this nature should be kept. --woodensuperman 10:57, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
- Delete Seems to have low utility. Philafrenzy (talk) 09:01, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
- Remove the cast members but leave the films. There is a precedence for this from 4+ years ago as can be seen here Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2013 September 19#Category:Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series Screen Actors Guild Award winners. Now I can see the argument for letting a category cover this info so if the consensus is to delete that is fine as well. MarnetteD|Talk 17:43, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
- Per MarnetteD, remove the cast members but leave the films. Randy Kryn (talk) 21:16, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
- Delete I vote delete for this one, but do not necessarily support deleting them in general. I think Awards shows prominent enough to be broadcast on national television should be treated differently than less notable ones. Emmy, Golden Globes and SAG templates serve a more notable purpose. This test case is deletable because I don't think the topic is notable enough for a template.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:35, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
Relisting comment: There is a strong consensus to at the very least remove the cast members but leave the films. The template has been updated to reflect this, so further discussion should centre on whether these templates should exist full stop. Pinging previous participants for further input: @Philafrenzy, MarnetteD, Randy Kryn, and TonyTheTiger:

- Weak keep I know this one is marginal but the presenting entity has continued to grow in recognizability over the years. FYI Primefac I did not receve your ping so you may want to notify the others a second time. MarnetteD|Talk 04:32, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
- I've always wondered if when relisting using the script it would actually ping. @Philafrenzy, Randy Kryn, and TonyTheTiger: second attempt. Primefac (talk) 13:25, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
- Keep, an interesting list for an important film award. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:33, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was delete. Unnecessary navigation, only links to one other article. (non-admin closure) Luis150902 (talk | contribs) 14:41, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
Useless. Links one article. --woodensuperman 15:50, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
