Redundant to {{Infobox settlement}}; only 46 transclusions.. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:04, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Keep. This is disruptive. Why are you trying to force one template onto articles by nominating an existing, perfectly workable template for deletion? That a really lousy way to attempt to promote harmonization. The "only 46" transclusions that you mention are just about all pages that are applicable for using this template! __meco (talk) 19:19, 24 April 2012 (UTC)- The page you need is over here. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:03, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- Merge and delete. Let's assume a little good faith here. Is there a reason settlement can't replace Bydel? Mackensen (talk) 11:35, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
- Right, and who's going to do the tedious work of adding the new template to all 46 pages and tweaking it to make it look right? Perhaps the closing admin? Or the nominator? Or perhaps we can just leave all those articles without an infobox until "someone" decides to make this considerable effort. __meco (talk) 16:10, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
- We delete redundant, low-use templates like this all the time; please see the FAQ at Wikipedia:Infobox consolidation. 46 is a very low number of affected articles to have to deal with. You were asked a question; do you have an answer? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:46, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

- delete Low use template; redundant to {{infobox settlement}} which has more features and is well-used. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 14:20, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- Delete as redundant and low-use per Gadget. Wouldn't take that long to fix. --Tyrannus Mundi (talk) 23:08, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

- Template:Infobox hurricane impact (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:Infobox hurricane (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Propose merging Template:Infobox hurricane impact with Template:Infobox hurricane.
The template for merger was creased for a subset of hurricane articles, although they are completely redundant right now. An example article is Effects of Hurricane Isabel in North Carolina. Compare the current version (with the regular Infobox hurricane) versus an old version with Infobox hurricane impact. The only visual difference is moving sections around and there being much less space in the regular Infobox Hurricane. I see no reason to have duplicates. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 01:06, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Merge per nom. hf24 15:18, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Merge to reduce redundancy. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:06, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Not merge, since articles like Effects of Hurricane Isabel in North Carolina are not articles on a hurricane and hence should not use Template:Infobox hurricane. I don't know if Template:Infobox hurricane impact is needed in articles like Effects of Hurricane Isabel in North Carolina but definitely the Template:Infobox hurricane has nothing to do in that article. That's not a question of redundancy... as long as articles on effects of tropical storms are created and not considered redundant. --Matthiasb (talk) 16:43, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
- But the template doesn't do anything differently, so the plain hurricane infobox works fine (as I showed through that test). It's not like there's anything different at all about the template, except for a few outdated features from an earlier version of IH. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:51, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
- merge as proposed, there is no reason why we can't merge these into one template. Frietjes (talk) 15:00, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Recently-created fork of {{Infobox GB station}}
, having code for dividing figures by 1,000,000. Used on one article, where it replaced the standard infobox. Redrose64 (talk) 00:21, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Delete as unnecessary fork, but consider putting some of the new functionality back into the original template (see my comments at Template talk:Infobox GB station). An optimist on the run! 11:58, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Merge with {{Infobox GB station}} as some of the information can easily be incorporated. Simply south...... going on editing sprees for just 6 years (as of 28/03/2006) 14:27, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
