- Template:Sustainability (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Delete. . What should be in the template cannot be determined with any stability. It's being misused by a persistent (possibly multiple) 99.* anon to be attached to any article (loosely) related to global warming mitigation. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 19:59, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- Comment. It had been drastically trimmed since its status at the start of the 2008 deletion discussion (kept), but it seems to have gotten still larger. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 00:49, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Keep - It is not a compelling reason to delete a template because an anon misuses it. Why not just talk to the anon? Sustainability is an important topic with wide scope spilling across many areas. This means the template needs some thought and perhaps some consensus about just what should be included. But that does not mean that "the template cannot be determined with any stability". There are core sustainability articles that should certainly be included. The current template is untidy, straying too far into topics better categorised as environmental or conservation issues. --Epipelagic (talk) 02:15, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- The template has not been determined with any stability, and the 2008 "keep" decision was conditional on it being trimmed. I see no reason not to revisit the question of whether a usable template is possible. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 19:11, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Keep - This is a large template on an important topic and I feel it has been done quite well. Maybe a little trimming is necessary but I just don't see any reason to delete the template. If it is being misused on particular pages, then surely that is an issue to be taken up on the page in question. Johnfos (talk) 21:24, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Perhaps if the template were semi-protected, and a filter was added to prevent IPs from adding the template to pages, it might be adequate. I still don't see it as potentially stable, but that may not be a reason to delete it if we can bound the damage. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 21:34, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Keep if is misuse is a problem, semi-protect it. Sustainability is a encyclopedic topic with an array of directly-related terms and concepts, all with sustainability in their core. The template is a good way to help readers navigate between various related topics. If there is a disagreement as to what should be included, use the appropriate talk page and discuss it there instead of proposing deletion. Arsenikk (talk) 15:34, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- Keep Sustainability may be broad, but that's why we have talk pages: to discuss inclusion. If needed, semi the template. But the purpose and topic of this navbox are valid, and it should not be deleted. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 03:17, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
- Keep The template still covers useful area, has been fairly stable. As far as I can see from the page history, there are 2 IP edits in the last 2 years, both of which happened after the nomination for deletion, and both of which are on topic - hardly a persistent problem. Not even worth partial protection of the template (if persistent problem on some page, see about partially protecting the target page). The history does not show a huge number of edits, edit warring, etc. Looks pretty stable. As noted, during the last proposal for deletion it was trimmed heavily, also I restructured it to collapse much of the subsidiary content, which helped deal with the template size objection to the apparent satisfaction of most of the users involved. Previous consensus at WP:FOOTY, squad navigation boxes are only to be created for senior FIFA, Confederation or Olympic tournaments. Jogurney (talk) 14:31, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- Delete I've never heard of this tournament, and participation in it is not a defining aspect of a footballers career. Arsenikk (talk) 15:35, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was Delete Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 01:40, 13 October 2010 (UTC) This template and all of it's sister templates, Template:Billboard Number 1 R&B 2007, Template:Billboard Number 1 R&B 2008, Template:Billboard Number 1 R&B 1997, Template:Billboard Number 1 R&B 1995, Template:Billboard Number 1 R&B 1994, Template:Billboard Number 1 R&B 1993 should all be deleted. Not only are they horribly done, but we already have lists created for them and these templates just create clutter. Live and Die 4 Hip Hop (talk) 02:56, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- Delete all. Not only is the table confusing, it also seeks to link random artists and song for no good reason. Navbox clutter. Resolute 20:05, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
