Trying to come back to wikipedia after being shellshocked in dealing with the status of USSR as an ally of Nazi Germany (unsuccessful). Now trying to improve Nativity Scene, and coming across an expert editor that has a history of deleting instead of fixing :-( looking for real collaboration, please! :-)

I never get bored and my curiosity cannot be cured.
I get interested in different things all the time, research them, get excited, and want to share. Few people I know are in the right mind space, at the right time, to care. So... editing Wikipedia articles is a perfect outlet for what ails me, which is incurable curiosity. I've read all about editing... and recently I've dabbled in it, but still don't know my way around. I have all the necessary skills, except for the specific knowledge on how to use Wikipedia, and of course the bigger concept and specific rules of the game. Most of this will be acquired over time. Up to this point I have been a "user" but had never even thought that I could be a contributor. I'm excited... but could use some help and advice from some who have experience. My learning curve will diminish rapidly by improving a small set of articles I have been dabbling in. I'm just having some trouble finding my way around as a new editor, so anyone willing to lend a hand would be appreciated.

Aniruddha Nazre. For those outside India people know me by the name of Ajit.
As an avid reader and consumer of knowledge from Wikipedia, I also wish to contribute back in the areas where I have accumulated knowledge and experience, namely, engineering mechanics, biomechanics, enterprise software, venture capital and broadband telecommunication. My favorite quotes are:
“The scientist only imposes two things, namely truth and sincerity, imposes them upon himself and upon other scientists.”
“If a man never contradicts himself, the reason must be that he virtually never says anything at all.” ― Erwin Schrödingervisited: 05:44, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
