Wikipedia:Source assessment/Stephen Ridley

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stephen Ridley is a British concert pianist and piano instructor. But of course, you know him for his ubiquitous YouTube ads! His masterclass[1] website shows the logos from CNN, Financial Times, GQ, Vogue, Evening Standard and Marie Claire in the "meet your instructor" section[2], but this doesn't contribute as much to his notability as one might expect. I found no trace of CNN (might have been on the telly), the others are in the table.

Ridley appears to really, REALLY like Grant Cardone[3]. Considering Grant Cardone has only been deleted 5 times, the 3.4M views on a single ad from Ridley (not sure if he has more) and some odd rumors I've read, the potential existence of WP:ULTRAs should be considered. If an article is ever created for Ridley, ensure it lives up to WP:BLP standards. It would almost certainly need indefinite page protection as there are various statements about him on social media (mostly Reddit) that no reliable source can confirm atm.

"Stephen Ridley" was created twice on Simple English Wikipedia: w:simple:Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/Stephen Ridley.
