Lyrics

[edit]
[verse]
i like parsing
wikitext yeah!
lots of templates
and recursive tags to parse
the code is old there
older than tstarling
younger than the jimbo
growing like a weed

[chorus]
wikitext
i love you so
all the ways
you break the page
(alt: you fill my days)
(alt: folks write you wrong)

hacking parsers
in the dark
wikitext
i love you so.

[verse]
all my patches
gather round me
wish that i could get
just one more review now
php is rusty
the manual's close by
this here regexp's making
teardrops in my eye

[chorus]

[bridge]
i hear a voice
in the morning hour it's calling me
jenkins reminding me that +2's far away
and driving down the road i start remembering
that i should have run phpcs
yesterday

[chorus, 2x]

[outro]
wikitext
you leave me vexed
wikitext
i wonder what's next
